![]() Unfortunately, after being robbed, we tried four different lockers to make sure it wasn't just ours that had the issue, and all of them were defective. I hope to spare the rest of you.Īfter paying $300 for services I would expect the lockers to work. The issues have not been fixed and now we are suffering for it. Several other guests had cash stolen or lockers opened as well, and we've been told by authorities and employees that these break-ins have happened before. ![]() Instead, we had nearly all of our most valuable belongings STOLEN out of the lockers in the upscale, adults area - engagement ring, wedding ring, class ring, other jewelry, cash. We were hoping to enjoy a nice day at the spa/hot springs, worry free. I just wish more people could experience something so great. I totally get it - insurance, maintenance, personnel, etc., etc. A family of 4 with their own ride for the full day would be what many people spend on an entire vacation. The only downside to the experience is the expense. Our guide, Mark, was great - pleasant, personable, and really knowledgeable. Views and vistas you'll get nowhere else. That allowed us to go faster, travel longer and see much more. We did a full day with lunch - a half day probably would have been enough, but by going a full day, our group was much smaller (5 snowmobiles, including our guide). But i kid you not, you get comfortable pretty quickly. I'll admit, I was a little cautious and apprehensive at first. After check in, we were snowmobiling within the hour. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel - HUGE PLUS! The driver, G, was friendly and shared some local history on the way to the lodge.Ĭheck in was easy. If you were in the area, this is the place you want to go to and this is the ride you want to go on. Our guide shade was awesome, very knowledgeable show us a bunch of areas and explain stories to us, took bunch of pictures for us. We will be back and cannot stress how great of an experience we had. We have been on multiple rides throughout Colorado and this was easily the best and our favorite. This isn’t a boring follow the Leader type ride, you ride side-by-side, through multiple levels and terrains, it is like a real ride. My daughters face and the joy she had knowing she was going to get to ride meant the world to us. That level of customer service and caring is something you can’t put a price on. We were able to locate stay up in Granby and while searching for ranches to do trail rides, the rusty spurr was the only one we called who was willing to accommodate us and even pulled a horse for my young daughter who recently had a birthday so she could ride. We had a stay planned in Estes Park, it was canceled last minute and we had to cancel all of our activities. The rusty spurr ranch exceeded expectations. But many memories were made here and we love this place!! We spent a fortune to come for the week so I don't know when or if we will be back. ![]() The rental skis and snowboard equipment were in such new condition, so nice and didn't have that icky rental feel (or smell!) We think it would be so fun to live here and just go out and ski a few runs after school or work all winter long. ![]() This place feels private, and very much caters to the residents and guests staying, vacationing, or living on the ranch. The only part that I don't like is how steep the slope is leading to the chair lifts, that was stressful with my beginners and my little guy. This place is fantastic for families and easy to keep track of everyone, nice little chair for beginners, and our three year old even made a run down the buckhorn train successfully and loved it. So nice to just drop in at the house for a quick snack and head back out in the snow! Perfect for all our kids!!! We love love love our rental home with a ski lift just outside our dining room window, it is absolutely why we chose to stay here. Yesterday was sunny and beautiful and everyone got to experience a bit of deep powder snow. We saved for years, planned for months, and I have been so excited to bring my kids to the rocky mountains to experience real powder snow skiing. ![]()
